Our purpose is to bring our community together through football, celebrating our Greek community roots, nurturing local talent, and building a club that stands for passion, unity, and excellence.
We exist not only to compete on the field but to inspire pride off it, fostering friendship, integrity, and belonging among all who share our love for the game and our club culture.
Despite the accolades and successes we have achieved, our primary accomplishment has always been representing the community with integrity and respect.
Our Story
The Founding
Founded in 1957 by Greek migrants who travelled from all corners of the world to call Sydney home, the club, then Pan-Hellenic Soccer Club, was built around community, connection and the universal love of football.
Their journey serves as a poignant reminder of the determination and sacrifices made in pursuit of a better life.
Identity
The club evolved into Sydney Olympic Football Club, carrying its Pan-Hellenic legacy into a new era. The Blue & White became a fixture of NSW football, building a reputation for resilience and pride.
The first major silverware followed, cementing the club’s identity in NSW competition.
National Soccer League
In the National Soccer League era, Sydney Olympic FC became Australia’s two-time NSL champions, a legacy etched in silver, displayed today in the club’s trophy room alongside cups, shields and pennants from every era.
Legends like Mark Bosnich, Ante Juric, Abbas Saad and Nick Carle wore the Blue & White and went on to represent Australia.
Through the Eras
Olympic Airways. De Costi Seafoods. Hickory. JASD. Atlas Power. Each jersey across the decades carries the name of a partner, a season, a generation of players.
From the National Soccer League era through to today’s NPL, the Blue & White never changes, even when the sponsor does.

Today Sydney Olympic FC fields competitive squads across both NPL Men’s and NPL Women’s NSW, building on a legacy of national success while developing the next generation through the club’s youth pathway.

With over 350 players across 65+ teams, Sydney Olympic boasts a complete roster spanning every age group across men and women, from first grade through to under 9s.
